Care Craft Group

The Care Craft Group is a wonderful initiative that brings together people with a passion for crafting and charity. Their bi-weekly gatherings are not just about creating beautiful crafts, but also about fostering a sense of community and kinship. By gifting their handmade items, they spread joy and warmth throughout the community. It's a heartwarming example of how shared interests and generosity can enrich the lives of many. If you're looking to contribute to your community, this group is a delightful opportunity to do both. Projects created to date include: laminated bookmarks, letters included with care packages to those away at school, and paper flowers.

Even if you don’t feel you are “crafty”, join us to visit, have coffee/tea and simply enjoy the time together.

The group next meets at St. Paul's UMC on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 9:30 AM.

Outreach Activity…

Thanksgiving is right around the corner.

We are collecting non-perishable food for 7 families plus the Philadelphia House. Donations should be dropped off to the church by 10:30 AM on Sunday, November 24th. Thank you for supporting the Outreach Committee and this yearly project.

The Outreach Committee's initiative concluding on Sunday, November 17, 2024, is a heartwarming example of community support. They are collecting essential items such as underwear and socks for Arborwood school children, accommodating a range of sizes suitable for kindergarteners to sixth graders. Contributions can be conveniently placed in the collection bin located at the entrance off the parking lot doors. Such efforts not only provide immediate assistance but also foster a spirit of generosity and care within the community. Thank you to everyone who considers donating to this noble cause.

UMCOR Donations for Hurricane Relief: If you would like to donate to help those in need from the recent hurricanes, please make a donation and designate it to UMCOR and we will get it to them. UMCOR is the United Methodist Committee On Relief.

St. Paul’s Box of Chocolates - Coming January 31, 2025

Start thinking about the St. Paul’s Box of Chocolates!

The St. Paul's Box of Chocolates event is a heartwarming initiative that celebrates the diversity and individuality of God's creation. We want it to be a beautiful reminder that each person is a unique blend of talents, quirks, and passions, much like the assorted chocolates in a box, each with its own flavor and surprise. This event will encourage people to share their personal collections, crafts, or passions (think science fair.) It's a wonderful opportunity for community members to showcase their interests, hobbies, talents, and to appreciate the varied gifts that each person brings to the table. It's a celebration not just of what we do, but of who we are.
